Sueki Jar

Height: 17.75cm
A small storage jar with baluster form bottom and an outwardly flaring neck, decorated with horizontal banding and incised wavy lines. The mouth-rim is flattened. The piece is partially covered with streaming dark green ash glaze. There are areas of degradation and scorching near the slightly rounded bottom.
