

Small Ding-yao Vase with Carved Lotus

A small porcelain Yuhuchun-ping with a long, slender neck, and flared mouth-rim (with small chip). The entire piece sits on a small, neatly formed foot rim, which is glazed underneath. The entire piece is glazed with a translucent ivory tinted glaze, ideal for Ding wares. It has scrolling lotus depictions on either side of its body.
